What We Offer

Music at All Saint's

Hallelujah! Praise God in the holy temple; praise God in the mighty firmament.

Praise God for mighty acts; praise God for exceeding greatness.

Praise God with trumpet sound; praise God with lyre and harp.

Praise God with tambourine and dance; praise

God with strings and pipe.

Praise God with resounding cymbals; praise God with loud-clanging cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Hallelujah!

 Psalm 150

Music at All Saint's is fortunate to be a gateway in praising our God in many ways. We are blessed both with fine instrumentalists who offer their talents on the organ, keyboard, drums, violin, viola, and recorder as well as with musicians in the choir who share their gift of music so freely. We are fortunate to have the committed leadership of a small choir who supports our worship through hymns, liturgy, and anthems. Because of them, our music adds a special dimension to worship at All Saints. We are also blessed to have a pastor who actively supports the importance of music to the worship service which is meaningful and heartfelt.

Throughout the year, the three liturgies we sing honour the influence of African-American music, Hispanic music and contemporary North American music. Our hymnody honours music and texts from the early church through many cultures and traditions to the present day. This is an exciting time to be a singing church. The Lutheran/Anglican church has a strong heritage on which to draw along with contemporary hymn-writers to give us worship that is both familiar and new. The music program also appreciates the support and feedback that the church provides as it  leads in music that is true to the gospel and is meaningful to a wide variety of interests and needs. If you have an interest in joining with us in the fun and joy of singing to our Lord or you have a special talent of music as a vocal or instrumental soloist, you are most  welcome to come on Thursday evenings beginning at 7:30 p.m. for our rehearsals
