Indigenous Relations

"Liberated by God’s Grace, the ELCIC encourages all members and congregations to reflect upon our own national and church history, to seek greater understanding of the issues facing Indigenous peoples, and to walk with Indigenous peoples in their ongoing efforts to exercise their inherent sovereignty and fundamental human rights." (Statement from ELCIC Website)

At All Saints we are on a journey to learn a thorough history of our Indigenous Peoples and their interactions with European settlers. That journey will bring us to understanding the need for  justice and reconcilliation. We seek to develop right relationships with them and promote active healing.

Below are a series of articles that individuals at All Saints have written in order to begin this journey in our congregation.
