What We Offer
Coffee Hour
Coffee hour or fellowship time - whatever you wish to call it - is hospitality. Nothing beats an inviting warm smile or a handshake; however, a coffee hour after the service provides a time to visit with old friends, those new to the church and those coming back for a visit. There doesn't need to be anything fancy - just something to drink and something to snack on ... sweet or salty. Jelly beans, pretzels, cheese and crackers, home baking or store bought cookies...our congregation loves them all!
All we need is "people power“ to bake or purchase some goodies including juice, milk and/or cream and to put on the coffee and tea. The coffee, tea, sugar and cups are provided. What a great chance to share, visit and reach out. We have assistants that will happily put on the coffee and tea for you if you want to bring juice and munchies. Two or three members can work together. If you would like to be a little more involved at All Saints, this is a good way to do it. It is also a great way to say, ” Thank you" to those who have participated in the service Sunday including Pastor, the assistant minister, choir, altar guild, ushers, SCS teachers and children, servers, readers and counters.
Coffee hours have helped us to celebrate birthdays, SCS presentations and confirmation.
Hospitality is a very important part of All Saints's ministry. Love and hospitality add to the warmth of our church as well as our homes. The sign-up sheet is in the narthex. Join us after the worship service and enjoy! For further information, contact Marilyn Coleman at 519-821-3640.
